Jeff finally, flew the very first of Parkflyers International G1E (E nomenclature stands for EDF) Prototype 1, eventhough the wind wasn't suitable for a maiden flight. This is our first ground up EDF parkjet, which inherits our design DNA: scale lines in score-n-fold. According to his post flight analysis, the Eurofighter G1E even with having no thrust vector or emulated thrust vector through elevons, is very pitch and roll sensitive. It brought us the similar experience with the F-16XL which was pitch and roll sensitive too, on 100% throw. So, it will require us to reduce the throw on each control surface as well as applying higher expo. This will be the settings he will have on the next flights. In this project, we would like to extend our greatest appreciation to our good supporting buddies James Soyak and Eric Robinson, who have been kindly sharing their valuable knowledge to us, in order to make this project happening. EDF was an uncharted territory for us and just becomes a new world to explore. Thanks guys. More updates to come. Stay tuned.
