As we seek ways to learn new things in this hobby, we now initiate the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk project as our next design.
We hope we would continue to have good results on this our first ground up warbird design. Stay tuned.

This is one of the planes I have flown.
Super scale looks and a joy to fly.
Best wishes Ian.

The P-40 is a great project, I hope to see a thread on RCP with regular updates. Best of luck, AKA borg187

Hi Julio.

Thank you so much for dropping kind words. We're so excited as well. But since I've been quite busy these days (I even haven't flown my planes for months), we haven't got the time to finish this P-40 project, specially the final drawing.

Hopefully we could finish it in the near future :)

Hey guys!
Just wondering how's the P-40 project going? I'm really looking forward to this one.

Hi Mike.

The project is being suspended temporarily, but we're having several prototypes flying already. Some modes haven't been applied to the design and mostly were focusing on wing design and servos placement.

Ian and Jeff had built and flown theirs and the both came to a conclusion that the P-40 is amazingly a great flyer. I haven't built mine yet up to this very moment. Too many things in my hands that prevent me to build many prototypes before releasing it publicly.

Stay tuned. May be we will decide to change our priorities all of a sudden 😊 Mostly we did things spontaneously.

We're about to make some mods on the battery bay and wingtips, Mike :) The base design doesn't include the undercamber wingtips. But Ian's and Jeff's prototypes with undercamber wingtips showed significant reduction on tip stall. I'm eager to build mine too.

Hi Dave.

Thank you so much for posting some words. The P-40 is currently being tested by some beta builders as some improvements had been made. However, we have no clue on the release date as I'm stil consumed with work.

Jeff was working on the improvements and he built larger plane if I'm not mistaken.
