In order to continue the quest for ultimate parkjets, we now have initiated the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet G1R project. The abbreviation R, stands for Rear-Mounted-Motor. We continue to use this as we started with G1 (no following letter) nomenclature which explains that it's a mid-mounted motor design, G1E (with E letter) which explains that it's an EDF powered design, and now G1R as rear-mounted motor design. The F/A-18 design will sport true airfoil wing instead of KF airfoil plates, much better scale lines fuselage and details inheriting the Eurofighter Typhoon G1E design methodologies, high stability and agility, in a compact form factor size (635mm wingspan).
More news is coming. Stay tuned.

This plane is easily the most satisfying build I've ever completed, looks absolutely pristine in the sky, has rock-solid handling, and - in case that's not enough - it goes like a bat outta hell!! Love your work PI team, keep it up...

Thanks Splash :) I couldn't agree more with you that the F/A-18 G3R is a great plane on speed, stability and agility once we have mastered it in the sky. Looking at it in the sky just doing circles gives lot of satisfaction. Doing maneuvers and speedy low passes, well, it brings the excitement to a brand new level for sure. :D Hahaha!

Thanks William :) it fulfilled our dream together of having scale F/A-18 that has true airfoil instead of KF plates.
